Who Are We For?
We are a loving, inclusive, spiritual community, offering a wide variety of gnosis, connection and tradition from All faiths. Offering resources, and Spiritual Healing to help people of all faiths find community, connection with other Seekers, ritual and tradition into their lives and experiences. Mystic Light Temple welcomes all people regardless of race, color, gender, age, creed, religion, national origin, ethnicity, physical disability, or sexual orientation. All seekers who come in love and with an open heart, are welcome. Come as you are, and be welcome.
Temple is for –
- Those born to faiths and religions, which they feel connection in their spirit, but are not welcome in their faith, because of whom they are,
- Those wishing to consciously advance the perfection of their soul.
- Those who need expanded dimensions, alternative rituals and varied beliefs to their faith.
- Those who are confused by traditional religion, and need more than faith alone in their search for God. The true nature of the Divine Creatrix, is beyond the human capacity. Through communion, and communication with the Other Side we can get glimpses.
- Those who desire tradition, ritual and community, with an openness for all forms of Divine and faith. Our goal is to open each mind to the splendor of God, allowing the heart (seat of the Soul,) intellect and Spirit to grasp the Divine.
- We do not appeal to those who are content to follow blindly and never question the basis of their beliefs. Temple is a sanctuary of learning, growing, and sharing in the Holy Spirit of The Great Mother/Father.
- Temple is a way to belong, to be among people of common & uncommon beliefs, to understand life and spirit, share community of faith, love, knowledge, Spirit and Healing.
Temple maintains that there is good in every approach to God and the Divine— We believe that the true essence of every being is Divine regardless of their current behavior. All beings under Gods creation are on a path of growth and spiritual advancement, each in its own unique and Divine time. Even those deemed unredeemable
why us??
Mystic Light Temple, we believe that each person is a unique Divine expression of God and is therefore sacred. Mystic Light believes and emphasizes the creative power of thought; your thoughts create your reality. And we can practice and cultivate our thoughts and change our lives and our reality. Temple is a home to express the joy and love that is God and the many gifts of life- with no fear, no guilt, no shame, no judgement, no sin, no hell, and no Satan.
One basic philosophy we hold firm, is that Life is a long journey of discovery. Life is a process of experiencing through physical form, to gain further Spiritual advancement on our journey back to the One. We honor and believe in the power espoused in the experience of God, via the primacy of intellect, intuition, faith, and direct personal gnosis.
How we worship
Never forget, every person is part of God. This means ANYONE can be an agent for the Divine, and reveal great wisdom, power and energy directly from the Divine Creatrix. The Divine Androgyne Mother/Father God, and the Holy Spirit. Mystic Light Temple presents a distinction between a supreme, Divine Creatrix/ God/ Mother/Father and a multitude of lesser divinities, who act is intermediaries, and assist humanity in our incarnate journey. Within the class of the Pure Spirits, along with the Good Spirits, Angels, Ascended Masters, Spirit Guides, which reside at higher and more advanced vibrations.
We emphasize ritualistic behavior is not seen to possess more importance than any other practice, unless it was based on a personal, internal motivation intention; however we see the deep value and ancient soul connections of ritual . A core belief of spiritualism is that individuals survive the deaths of their bodies by ascending into a spirit existence. A person’s condition after death is directly related to the moral quality of his human existence. Communion with the spiritual world is both possible and desirable, and spiritual healing is the natural result of such communication. The spiritualists understand God as infinite intelligence/consciousness. We believe in the gifts of Oracles, Prophets, Mediums and Psychics. Séances, or Mesas are for spirit communication and the practice of spirit healing. We believe in science, and combined western & eastern medicine, as well as mental health. We emphasize whole Wellness of mind body emotion and spirit. The desire for healing is the key.
Mystic Light Temple has NO set or specific forms of practice or worship. We may or may not follow an Orthodox Coptic liturgical service; or We may enter sacred circles under the Full Moon to celebrate the solstice; or perhaps have an Aramaic Sunday mass service hosted by a Priestess of Mary Magdalene; or maybe a deep discussion on the origin of man comparing the bible, Quran & torah, with spiritualist doctrine, Hinduism and DPG of any present. Or possibly a Mesa for spirit channeling and healing. Worship and service at Temple change with the needs of the Seekers, and the intuitive guidance of the Spirits and the Host of the service.
Joy unto the heart. Upon earth, I give the knowledge of the spirit eternal, and beyond death, I give peace and freedom, and reunion with those who have gone before.
Nor do I demand sacrifice, for behold! I am the mother of all living, and my love is poured out upon the earth. I am the Queen of the Dead rising green to be reborn.
Moon among the stars, and the mystery of the waters.
Let my worship be within the heart that rejoiceth, for behold, all acts of love and pleasure are my rituals. And therefore, let there be beauty and strength, power and compassion, honor and humility, mirth and reverence within you.
And thou who thinkest to seek for me, know that thy seeking and yearning shall avail thee not, unless thou know this mystery, that if that which thou seekest thou findest not within thee, thou wilt never find it without thee.
